Use this to quickly farm initial ore without any movement at all. The ice on lower levels always yields better ore than the surface one. Lava drills above ground produce only snow, so use this to reliably power up your conveyors.Some clumps of dirt, if they're too big, can still get stuck in the funnels even if they're bigger. You could try putting a shredder before any funnels, it might help. I just use the angled metal pads to make a funnel of my own and it works great. You just have to mine everything as fast as you can, and 1% of what you mine will be cloutium. Just scale up your mining. I put down 50 T1 drills on the surface.
